The one effective solution to Mumbai’s environmental crises is an awareness campaign amongst schoolchildren. These campaigns which involve audio-visual and interactive sessions along with hands-on efforts to clean up Mumbai’s coastal environment are aimed at sensitizing the emerging generation to polluting practices. Further, these initiatives are intended to utilize the vigour and enthusiasm of our youth to dispel the prevalent public apathy towards these issues.
